He has further focus in cardiovascular risk assessment and future cardiovascular risk modification.

 

Background & Training

Dr Mabote graduated in Medicine from Trinity College, Dublin and trained in Cardiology at Leeds General Infirmary in the UK, a renowned centre for interventional and structural heart disease. He holds a Doctorate in Medical Sciences for research on non-invasive tele-monitoring in Chronic Heart Failure.

 

A Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Australia he also completed a two-year fellowship in advanced percutaneous coronary interventions at Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth gaining experience in percutaneous valve therapies and structural interventions. He is actively engaged in research, including his role as a sub-principal investigator for the ILUMIEN IV (Optical Coherence Tomography) clinical trial and participated in patient recruitment for the Onyx ONE (Optimal Treatment of High Bleeding Risk Patients) clinical trial.
