Dr Eoin Wilson is a Psychiatrist who trained in medicine at University College London (UCL) where he also studied for an intercalated degree in medical anthropology and was awarded an honours degree in 1995.
After graduating in 1998, Dr Wilson worked in England and Sydney in a variety of medical settings before returning to London to begin his psychiatric training on the Royal Free and Associated Hospitals training scheme in 2001, undertaking training in general adult, old age, child and adolescent, liaison and forensic psychiatry and passing the Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) examinations.
After two more years in London, Dr Wilson returned to Sydney, working at Royal North Shore Hospital in community and emergency psychiatry.
Dr Wilson then began working as a visiting psychiatrist in Tamworth and was appointed staff specialist in psychiatry at Royal North Shore hospital where he was psychiatrist for the assertive outreach team for two years before taking over a private psychiatric practice in Tamworth.
Dr Wilson worked in private practice at Mosman Private Hospital from 2008 - 2018 before joining Ramsay Clinic Cremorne.
After working in psychiatry for over two decades, Dr Wilson has treated patients of all ages from a range of cultural and social demographics, in inner city, suburban and rural areas in two countries.
Whilst Dr Wilson likes to maintain his skills in dealing with a wide range of problems, he has a particular interest in PTSD and trauma. Dr Wilson presently sees patients 18 years and over, is registered with SIRA/MAAA and is experienced in independent psychiatric assessment for insurers and solicitors.
