Profile

Dr Ayodele Olatunji is a consultant general psychiatrist with Ramsay Clinic, Wentworthville. Dr Olatunji completed his undergraduate medical training and has extensive medical practice experiences in general practice, obstetrics and gynaecology, public health, psychiatry, and addiction medicine.

He has a Master in Public Health (MPH), Master in Psychiatric Medicine (MPsych Med.) and a Diploma in Family Medicine. He trained in Nigeria, Botswana, South Africa, and Australia, and he is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. In Australia, he now works as a general psychiatrist and certified addiction psychiatrist.  

Dr Olatunji has extensive work experience in urban and regional areas both in person and via telehealth services. He also has both public and private hospital work experiences in Nigeria, Botswana, and Australia. His interest is in psychotic disorders, schizophrenia, Depression, Mania, Bipolar disorders, impulse control disorders, Adult ADHD, Substance Addictions (substances and others), general psychiatry and workers compensation. He is very passionate about the provision of culturally appropriate biopsychosocial treatments and services to his patients.
