Dr Dhaval Dani completed his medical degree from one of the top-ranked medical colleges in India. After completing his medical degree, he worked in Singapore, where he developed a keen interest in psychiatric disorders and started his training in psychiatry. He moved to Australia to continue his training and in 2015 he became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCpsych) U.K. He worked in various locations in NSW and started his RANZCP training at Hunter New England Health. While in training, he was regularly involved in teaching junior doctors and was also the president of the network’s registrar committee.
Dr Dani has a keen interest in managing addictive disorders. He is working towards completion of his Certificate in Advance Training in Addiction Psychiatry. He also works as a Staff Specialist at Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services at Hunter New England Network. His skills and experience include:

2. Managing substance withdrawals
3. Accredited Opioid Replacement Prescriber
4. Managing common psychiatric presentations- Anxiety and Mood Disorder
5. Managing complex psychiatric disorders- psychotic illnesses, PTSD
6. Personality Disorders
7. Neurodevelopmental disorders- Autism Spectrum Disorder in Adults. Dr Dani does not see Adult ADHD.
8. Neurodegenerative disorders like Dementia.
9. Neurostimulation- accredited ECT administrator.
