Psychiatry services

To access psychiatric care Ramsay Clinic Berkeley Vale, you need to be referred by your GP. The referral process can vary depending on the type of mental health service that you require.

Psychology services

Psychology involves the psychotherapeutic and behavioural treatments to address mental health conditions. Psychologists work to understand the reasons behind what we do and help us to develop strategies to manage our thinking and behaviour. You may benefit from psychological care if you need help to deal with relationships and life events and manage your mental health condition over the long-term.

You may also like to access psychological services after you have completed psychiatric treatment with Ramsay Clinic Berkeley Vale to help you maintain your recovery. 

You do not need a doctor’s referral to see a psychologist at Ramsay Psychology. However, if you have been referred by your GP on a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will be able to claim a Medicare rebate which will cover part of the cost for 10 sessions in a calendar year. A gap fee will also be payable by you as an out-of-pocket cost.
