Dr Angelo Virgona has been a psychiatrist since 1990. For 10 years he held senior clinical director appointments with NSW Health in rural and metropolitan services. He has been Medical Superintendent at Ramsay Clinic Macarthur since the facility opened in October 2013. Angelo has been instrumental in the establishment of early psychosis services and youth mental health services (Headspace) in Campbelltown.
He has an interest in the management of personality disorders. He is a currently the NSW Committee Chair of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) as well as a member of the RANZCP Faculty of Forensic Psychiatry.
