Welcome to Ramsay Clinic New Farm, located in a beautiful area of Brisbane, close to the river and parklands.
You will feel most comfortable wearing casual clothing around our clinic during the day and you will also require night attire, toiletries and other personal items. For safety purposes, covered shoes should be worn at all times and, if planning to go for walks it is recommended that suitable footwear and clothing be worn.
While small personal safes are provided in patient rooms, it is recommended that you do not bring any valuables such as large amounts of money, jewellery, or expensive appliances to the clinic as we will not accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged property. You might however, like to bring an iPad or similar device with headphones. Please clearly label your belongings.
Each room is fitted with a television for your personal viewing. Rooms are provided with free TV and free WiFi is provided throughout the Clinic.
Patients are requested to bring their prescriptions with them at the time of admission. This will ensure that their supply of medication is not interrupted, and additional charges do not occur. This is especially important for authority items, which have controls placed on them.
If you are taking several medications, please bring a current medication list from your GP to assist the admission process and ensure your medication treatment is continued. This should include prescription medicines, “over the counter” medications, aspirin, vitamins, herbal or alternative medicines.
Medications from Webster Packs cannot be dispensed by nursing staff, new medications will be provided.
Patients may be asked to arrange for excessive personal belongings to be collected due to Workplace Health and Safety and Fire precautions.
Please call 1300 290 645 if you have any questions regarding your admission.
