Ramsay Day Clinic Kahlyn programs are conducted in comfortable group rooms.

Programs

Ramsay Day Clinic Kahlyn group therapy programs can be either specialised closed groups with a start and finish date, or ongoing open groups.

The closed groups teach skills in therapies including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) with Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Our ongoing open groups can involve art and craft activities followed by supportive psychoeducational discussions designed to assist patients in gaining further insight into their condition.

Fire Procedures

In the event of a fire, an alarm will sound and red lights flash. Staff will direct proceedings during any fire alarm. Emergency Fire Exit doors are in areas highlighted by the green and white exit lights.

Smoking

Ramsay Day Clinic Kahlyn is committed to good health for everyone, and smoking is not permitted inside the facility, however a designated smoking area is available outside in the garden gazebo.

Car Parking

Limited parking is available at the Ramsay Day Clinic Kahlyn, but there is off-site street parking adjacent. We ask that you are mindful of the allocated spaces given to Doctors and medical couriers. Your cooperation with this request is appreciated.

Transport

Bus 106 runs regularly along Magill Road from the city and stops at bus stop 17 on Magill Rd.

Buses H20 and H22 run along The Parade and alights at bus stop 16 on The Parade.
Both buses leave from Currie St in the city.

Mobile Phones

Mobiles may be used in all public areas; however we ask that they be switched to silent mode when attending the group therapy session. Ramsay Day Clinic Kahlyn does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to your mobile phone.

Telephones

One phone is available to patients to make a free local call if needed.

Patient Feedback form

Patients are encouraged to give their feedback on their experience at Kahlyn. The Group facilitator distributes feedback forms at the completion of every closed group. Results are compiled and regularly reported on at Program Management Meetings.
