Dr Peter McArdle is a psychiatrist with an interest in adult (general) psychiatry, affective disorder and has undertaken subspecialty training in aged psychiatry. Dr McArdle became a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry in 1988 and since has worked across the public and private mental health settings.

Profile

Dr McArdle graduated form Monash University in 1978. After hospital training and working in the UK in general jobs he did general practice training.
He then undertook psychiatry working full time in the public sector before moving to the established aged psychiatry at Ramsay Clinic Albert Road in the 1990's. His practice now includes adult (general) psychiatry. Treating inpatients and outpatients. He is a part time tutor at the Melbourne University. He sits on the Mental Health Review Tribunal and also works at Foundation House with refugees.
