Our Psychologists

Lourdes is a Registered Psychologist with a warm and empathetic therapeutic style. She values building strong connections to create a safe space for healing and growth. She uses authenticity and humour in therapy to facilitate the counselling process.  In session, she provides structure and employs a practical and analytical approach to empower people to live their fullest lives.

Debora is a Registered Psychologist dedicated to providing empathetic, collaborative, and non-judgmental psychotherapy.  Her passion is working with children, adolescents and families and guiding them through various mental health concerns.

Kim is a registered Psychologist and has worked in government departments and private practice for 25 years.

Anne-Marie is a provisional psychologist completing the final year of her internship. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (psychology), Graduate Certificates in eLearning and Forensic Behavioural Science and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Advanced).

Helen Schmidt is a registered psychologist with a wide range of experience, in both the private and the public sector, providing care and support to help her clients manage their mental health and re-engage with their community. Helen has worked in private practice for more than a decade. 

Simone is a Registered Psychologist with more than 10 years of experience working therapeutically with a diverse range of adult clients. Simone’s areas of interest include supporting clients struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues and recovery from trauma. She is interested in supporting clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and from the LGBTIQA+ community. Much of her training has focussed on trauma and trauma recovery. Simone works with university students, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and clients in private practice. With a compassionate, non-judgmental and gentle approach, Simone aims to create a safe space for clients to explore their experience, values and goals within a trusting therapeutic relationship in order to create meaningful change. Simone’s approach is collaborative, client-centred and trauma-informed and she adjusts her approach based on each client’s individual needs. Simone has a special interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy.
