Our Psychologists

Abbey is a psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is experienced working with a range of mental health presentations across the lifespan, though has a particular interest in working with adolescents and adults. Abbey has worked in private practice for a number of years, as well as in the secondary education system. She is passionate about supporting individuals through mental health difficulties to achieve improved outcomes.

Tamera is a Registered Psychologist with 20 years of professional experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Through her down to earth, easy-going, and thoughtful manner, Tamera’s primary focus is on building a strong therapeutic relationship with a focus on the personal progress for her clients. Encouraging clients to improve their personal self-awareness and self-mastery of emotional skills. She is experienced in working with many presenting issues including mental health issues, realtionship problems, stress, burnout, and work life balance.

Sari is a Registered Psychologist who specialises in working with children and families. She has a particular interest in the assessment and treatment of mental health concerns in the perinatal period, including ante natal and post-natal depression, anxiety and transition to parenthood. Sari has specialised, for many years, in the effects our early attachment relationships have on relationships throughout our lives. She has extensive experience working with parents and carers and has worked with a wide range of clients with a trauma background, including developmental trauma. Sari believes helping new parents understand their children and their needs is key to being able to enjoy happy and secure relationships. Where a child or parent has more complex needs, Sari is committed to working, as a team, with any other health service providers involved in the client’s life, thus ensuring the best outcomes for the client. Sari has worked in both public health sector and in several non-government agencies. She is working towards full accreditation in EMDR trauma therapy and is a trained Circle of Security Facilitator. Jacinta is a Clinical Psychologist who has clinical experience working with children, adolescents and their families, and adults with psychological or psychiatric disorders. She has garnered experience in numerous public mental healthsettings, including community outpatient clinics in Singapore and Australia, the Institute of Mental Health outpatient and inpatient ward (Singapore), Burns Unit (Australia) and Perth Voices Clinic (Australia).

Nooria is a Registered Psychologist with diverse experience of working with different age groups, cultural and religious backgrounds. She has an eclectic approach to therapy and utilises evidence-based models, adopting a person-centred approach with her clients.

Nikki is a warm and compassionate Clinical Psychologist who has worked with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, and across the lifespan. 

Trish is a registered psychologist with qualifications including a Master of Rehabilitation Counselling, a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), and a Master of Professional Psychology. 

Alison is Registered Psychologist with a long history in health services. She was initially trained as a Registered Nurse, then an Endorsed Midwife prior to completing her degree in psychology. Her training in the diverse areas of health allow her to integrate the knowledge and experience over a long career to provide a client-centred approach which can help clients improve their wellbeing, relationships and lived experience. Alison is particularly interested in trauma and how it can affect all aspects of a person’s life. This includes relationships, substance use, emotional health and wellbeing, employment and overall mental health.

Lina is a warm and non-judgmental clinician who works strongly on building a kind and genuine rapport with her clients, while providing them with a safe and empowering space.

Ruth is a registered Psychologist with qualifications including a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours). During her studies, Ruth worked for five years supporting those in crisis following trauma. This was followed by a two-year internship and practical application of her learnings at Ramsay Clinic in Cairns. Ruth has  a special interest working with adults and adolescents.
