Our highly experienced psychologists are trained in the latest treatment techniques and are ready to provide support to children, adolescents, adults and older persons.

Our team at Ramsay Psychology Clayfield is made up of degree-qualified psychologists, who are registered with APHRA and offer a wide range of evidence-based therapies.

Referrals

You do not need a doctor’s referral to book an appointment (in person or via telehealth) at Ramsay Psychology Clayfield. However, if you have been referred by your GP with a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will be able to claim a Medicare rebate. This will cover part of the cost of a number of sessions in a calendar year. Your doctor can address the referral to Ramsay Psychology or specifically to one of our psychologists. If you do not already have a Mental Health Treatment Plan and you wish to access this rebate, contact your GP or psychiatrist.

Clients who hold private health insurance may be eligible for a partial refund. Contact your health fund for more information.

Ramsay Psychology psychologists and practice staff offer concessions and fee structures for individuals who are covered by NDIS (self-funded and plan-managed only). These are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

X Psychometric Testing

Ramsay Psychology provides psychometric testing. This is a process by which a person’s cognitive, psychological, emotional and behavioural functioning is comprehensively assessed through a detailed interview and standardised testing. Psychometric testing may be needed for a new or corrected diagnosis of certain conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning Disorders and Dementia.
