Our highly experienced psychologists are trained in the latest treatment techniques and are ready to provide support to children, adolescents, adults and older persons.

Our team at Ramsay Psychology Ipswich is made up of degree-qualified psychologists, who are registered with APHRA and offer a wide range of evidence-based therapies.

Referrals

You do not need a doctor’s referral to book an appointment (in person or via telehealth) at Ramsay Psychology Ipswich. However, if you have been referred by your GP with a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will be able to claim a Medicare rebate. This will cover part of the cost of a number of sessions in a calendar year. Your doctor can address the referral to Ramsay Psychology or specifically to one of our psychologists. If you do not already have a Mental Health Treatment Plan and you wish to access this rebate, contact your GP or psychiatrist.

Clients who hold private health insurance may be eligible for a partial refund. Contact your health fund for more information.

Ramsay Psychology psychologists and practice staff offer concessions and fee structures for individuals who are Concession Card Holders, or covered by NDIS (self-funded only), MAIC, OSHC and WorkCover. These are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Simone is a Registered Psychologist with more than 10 years of experience working therapeutically with a diverse range of adult clients. Simone’s areas of interest include supporting clients struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues and recovery from trauma. She is interested in supporting clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and from the LGBTIQA+ community. Much of her training has focussed on trauma and trauma recovery. Simone works with university students, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and clients in private practice. With a compassionate, non-judgmental and gentle approach, Simone aims to create a safe space for clients to explore their experience, values and goals within a trusting therapeutic relationship in order to create meaningful change. Simone’s approach is collaborative, client-centred and trauma-informed and she adjusts her approach based on each client’s individual needs. Simone has a special interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy.
